Despite pandemic shutdowns across the nation, venues going out of business, and tournament directors losing jobs, we the pool community were able to get 8 qualifiers off the ground. Hats off to all those who worked hard to organize and drag players out for a new and uncertain venture in billiards competition. We would like to recognize our tournament directors James Harris – California, Carlos Sanchez – Texas, Gloria Jean – Rhode Island, Carrie Vetrono – Florida, Jose Burgos – New Jersey, Elvis Rodriguez – New York, & Neight Mindham – Wisconsin. We look forward to working together more in the future. Congratulations to the 8 amateur qualifier winners that are able to attend the main even December 18th & 19th at Sandcastle Billiards in Edison, New Jersey. Those players are pictured below and will be facing off against one another in the 1st round of the main event. That format seeding guarantees 1/2 of them will advance to the winners’ side of the double-elimination charts. The main event will consist of 16 total players with a $25,000.00 prize purse.
