OVER $1 MILLION IN CASH & PRIZES ANNUALLY!
Don’t let the word, “League” mislead you. The NBL is a 2-stage series of 8 qualifying tournaments and 4 quarterly Pro/Am main events designed as a nationwide tour, organized as a league.
The Winning Formula
With full fields of 32 amateur players at stage 1, running twice each quarter at 32 sanctioned locations, will generate a $200,000.00 main event prize purse 4 times a year. Amateurs can play in the main event by winning a stage 1 qualifier. Professionals can play in the main event paying the $1,000.00 entry fee. 10-Ball will be the discipline for the 1st and 3rd quarters and 8-Ball for the 2nd and 4th quarters.
Stage 1 – Qualifiers
32 Amateurs will compete locally at each sanctioned location where the top 8 finishers win cash prizes that day. The winner advances to the national main event, fully sponsored, with their $1,000.00 entry fee, travel expenses, and lodging completely paid for. Additionally, the winner will be issued a player tour card and 2 personalized official NBL competition jerseys to be worn while playing in the main event.
Stage 2 – Main Event
The main event consists of 128 competitors where 64 amateurs who had qualified through stage 1 events, are randomly seeded to play each other in the 1st round and 64 professionals who bought in for $1,000.00 are also randomly seeded to play each other in the 1st round. This format guarantees an equal amount amateurs and professionals advance to the winners side of the chart.

Amateurs can win 1 Qualifier and go straight to the National Main Event!
The NBL welcomes ALL LEAGUES and TOURS to advertise with us by truly sponsoring players and awarding amateurs a spot in a Stage 1 Qualifier (pay their $150 entry), and THEN slap a patch on them! Find Qualifier
Professionals can wear or display up to 3 patches by soliciting:
- a sponsor to pay the $1000 entry fee.
- a sponsor to pay for travel.
- a sponsor to pay for lodging.
That’s sponsorship! The NBL is raising the value of a pool player by defining their minimum market value.
